Regarding Hungarian issue, I believe there might be a probable explanation on this.
I'm not always a positive person regarding Beemoov though - don't make me start complaining about MCL UL

Maybe some problems arise (like the previous admin left) so sudden & it caught them at a bad time.
Thinking that nobody else is proficient enough to maintain a forum in a foreign language, Hungarian, especially the vacant post is admin, not mods, they decided they have to close the forum without advanced notice.
Since it happened beyond their prediction, they might take a while to hire the right person to resume the post.

For example, if you browsed some Japanese sites which provide dual-language facility, you might notice that the secondary language site won't give a full feature as compared to their native language. It's frustrating but knowing that English is not widely-spoken in the country and all - people will make do with what has been provided.
Just imagine if the forum features are maintained half-heartedly & not all access can be made in the forum (the admin is a non-Hungarian speakers) - I believe players will complain yet again and flooding posts will be out of control.
So yeah, just chill, guys.

The vote was in the forums. In the daily oracle section there was a forum posted titled "And the finalists are..." The vote was a poll there. Each server voted for their winner from a list of their finalists.

Regarding this, I don't think the biggest problem was the missing admin or the closed forum. The biggest problem was that originally the closed forum wouldn't have been a problem for the players there, and they kept mentioning that we will have 9 winners. And on top of that, they ignored everybody who e-mailed them and asked them on other platforms (facebook or forums on other servers). And they didn't need a single Hungarian speaker there, because most of these questions were in French or English, as a lot of the players speak one of these languagues there. I think most of the people would have been satisfied with a single answer ('Sorry, we can't include you becuse of the closed forums' or something), and it could have been in English, becuse the moderators and other significant players do speak English pretty well and could help everyone else. If they didn't have time at the beggining, they could have at least try it later or now. Bad communication is still better than nothing at all.

If something like this happens again, I hope we have a proper theme. Some of them are great but others are kind of a mess. And that "kind of" is just me trying to be polite. A proper theme might help with that.

Well, not to dump on the winners or anything, I just feel like there must have been some nicer looker ones than certain ones up there. They're not bad or anything, just don't seem like they fit the title of 'contest winner'.

I am sure that a bunch of guys and gals did not sit in a room and chose the ones they liked the most. That would be tacky af.

I was thinking shots (JUICE SHOTS OFC SINCE IS NOT LIKE MOST OF US ARE IN OUR 20's BADMOOVE!!!!). Or voting. After they are drunk off their asses... drinking juice, like I said.

Imagine a room filled with teenagers and a few people in their 20's or 30's, trying to remain "hip", everyone is taking a shot of orange juice and water. After a few rounds, they start talking about the contest. No one cares. Some did not even knew that they were there for that, I mean, free juice and all is way more important. In the end someone says "I like edgy style, so whatever suits that", one of the guys that is nearing 30 writes that down, deletes around 50-100 entries. Another person takes 2 shots and says "Idk, casual with red, maybe? Just close your eyes and select whoever", a lady in her 20's does exactly that. This goes on and on, by midnight they have all the winners chosen, then order pizza, put on Netflix and make fart jokes. The end.

But it's true that this probably wasn't that well thought out given how it's simply unfair in the end. With probably thousands of entries or more, given the amount of members combined globally, it's near impossible to narrow down 'the best' due to the fact that too many would be of equal quality. Those who had the qualifications of a winner still lose because there can be only one. Regardless of whether or not they match the criteria their entries are left out because it's just the luck of the draw. Hopefully they'll have better contest ideas in the future.

Like I said in another thread: they should have made a request form to participate. They would have been sorted on a criteria (how many days they have been logging on for, maybe forum posts, etc.), so that newbies or others that never show up anywhere would be sorted out. They could have set the bar low and let people reach the criteria in 3-5 days after they had sent the request if it was necc.
Anyway, they could have chosen 3-5 themes and then one person per theme or two, to show off different ways you could have dreassed based on that certain theme. I think this is slightly better than what they did.
We could have chosen the themes or even a part of the criteria, to keep things fair.
