@PrincessRain- Yeah, I hope it gets checked and finalized soon. It clearly can be really disturbing to some.

I personally left it for a bit...I just refreshed the page and kept ignoring the prompt. It startled me at first too! Haha ^,^ I think it was a playful touch and wasn't of any ill-intent. I eventually turned it off, just because I thought it was a little annoying. So far, it hasn't popped back up for me.

I made sure to fully admire the cute Chead before bidding it farewell~~~

Chead is not so pretty -I don't want to say ugly for it- but I love how it just pops out on screen while you're busy with something:) I think it's cool and really fits to the Halloween consept. I liked this little animation:)

But of course, it must be horrible for people who afraid of or hate spiders. "Don't show this animation again" option is a good idea.

I'm a bit confused tho since I got a notification while playing Gem'bomb about am I okay seeing some animation and I pressed I'm no longer an aracnophobe, but nothing happened. Was I supposed to press the other option to see it?

//never mind, I read the older messages and it turns out I was supposed to see a spider pop up but the game probably covered it. And I got it again in another page so I got to see it anyway.

            Hearing the screams in the rain.

I did not see any animation when i first logged in today. There was just that pop up thing asking me very weird question (considering that i did not see any animation) So I just clicked the "no afraid" button (because i thought it was nothing serious lol) I did not understand the question

I am not really that scared of spiders but i do not like that animation coming at all.
Actually I am tryphophobic (is that how its spelled) so that spider does not make me feel comfortable at all, so i thing i am going to skip logging in until this event is over (or at least i wont play the game)
"just dont look at it" won't help lol

I think if someone really has a phobia for spiders, even seeing it once can really ruin the whole day. Especially when that spider appears like every two seconds on the screen whatever you are trying to do.

I saw the Chead while I was playing Gem Bomb a couple minutes ago and the options for me were "I am Arachnphobe no longer!" and "Not Afraid". I assumed the blue highlighted one was saying that I'm not afraid, so I clicked that one, but immediately after I clicked it, I noticed the second option that said not afraid, so then I was wondering if I accidentally clicked the one that was most likely with poor grammar which ACTUALLY meant that I WOULD be an arachnophobe and to NOT show it again, and got the tiniest bit upset because I actually DO want to see it again (especially since that's the companion I've been using for months now), lol.

However when I came to the forum to check what others were saying about it, it popped up on my screen again and gave me the same prompt again. This time I clicked Not afraid, and it's been showing up constantly since without the prompt showing up. That's great for ME because I actually wanted to be seeing the animation, but if someone is afraid of spiders/has arachnophobia, or just doesn't like them, having it show up again with the same prompt is not a good thing.......

The event so far is cool but i'm here to talk about the jump scare. That's the worst thing you could have came up with. I don't care for the "it's just a joke" and "but it's halloween" arguments. There are people who really can't deal with such things and you did more than just scare them. People can have panic attacks over stuff like that.

I'm lucky i'm not scared of spiders but the arachnophobes playing this game must be having a bad time, and no, giving the option to turn it off does not make up for it. When it happens it's already too late. Also the answers you're given to turn it off aren't obvious enough I'm not sure I clicked the right one.

And "I'm arachnophobe no more" is this a joke. If they were of course they still are and having a bad time right now and you're mocking them on top of it.

I'm serious disgusted right now.

So... how do we turn off the spider thing? I'm one of the people with full-blown arachniphobia and I'm literally shaking right now because of the spider thingy. I really love this event but the spider that keeps coming down is seriously making it impossible for me to do everything and have fun...

For those who don´t know how to turn off the spider: You have to click on it and a dialogue will appear, allowing you to turn off the animation.

(Actually, I came across this option when I saw it for the first time, thinking it was something like the flying cupcake in MCL. Imagine my disappointment when I found out it won´t give us any items  )

Okay the Chaed was a poor choice in animation considering it covers not one, not two, but three phobias (the fear of eyeballs, the fear of holes, and the fear of spiders). I'm not personally afraid of spiders but not only does my step sister have full blown arachnophobia but my grandfather too, and I've seen just how bad it can affect someone. Why on this green earth did you implement a useless animation knowing it could cause issues to your players? YOU'RE OPTIONS TO TURN IT OFF ARE EVEN POORLY TRANSLATED.

It's not even enjoyable for someone who doesn't have arachnophobia because of how frequently it pops up!

Can you make it a thing where we can sort out clothes by last received? It makes it difficult to see what you have received from the Halloween Event when exploring, well more or less in general. There have been times when I am looking for the last thing my pet found and I can't find it anywhere. Also being able to sort by name or style would be nice too so that we could easily find an outfit that we have received that all go together

I don't get what the point of the spider is. Yes, yes, a little jump scare, ok fine. But it's done to death. Seriously, every 5 seconds? It was old after the third time. If it doesn't serve a purpose such as 'catch the spider X amount of times and get a prize' or something to that effect, then it's nothing more than an irritation. I'm actually trying to look past it while typing this message! Come on, guys, have some sense! Or at least change things up.
