I believe the stars/whales might be the same as the flying cupcakes in MCL - by clicking them you get a random item in a random colour from the past. I could be wrong but that's what first came into my mind

Same here. At least for the items that were available for maana. I wouldn't be surprised if they just sold everything for gold tbh, it's Beemoov we're talking about after all.


By the way, does everyone get the same item for each Flash Sale? The item that's on sale for me is the Salty Queen skin, did everyone get that too or is it different for everyone?

Oh, thank you for the explanation. Since event page online can be accessed by a price tag and not a star, I still hope the stars could be the same as the flying cupcakes in MCL.

That would be an amazing feature, but the admin has already corrected the typo in the announcement from star to price tag. So yeah, no cupcakes for us ;_;

Anyway, here's my opinion on the new flash sales:

I'm extremely disappointed considering the amount of hype you created on social media. As usual, my standards were too high.

I seriously hope you go through everyone's feedback and at least make the items available for maana too.

The one item/outfit/companion a day cycle being a permanent feature from now on has its own good parts, I suppose. This way, I don't feel the pressure to buy an insane amount of GC from the bank since there's not much to buy. And it's a nice way to make people log in everyday, kind of like a calendar with bonuses each day. Except that we have to ummm...pay for them.

Ok, the GC only is bad, but why can't we try on the items like we normally do? There is the moderl right beside the selection icons, so I suppose you should be able to. And this problem has been spoted and written in the forum early in the morning, so why didn't they bother to solve the bug, or at least say in their post that there was that issue and they were looking into it? Because it was said almost an hour before they posted this announcement.

Got super excited for nothing. Only gold, hm? Not surprising. If this is some filler for the usual summer event that occurs after the musical event then... no thanks.

So, based on this wording, it sounds like it could be like the purro pass shop. "can happen" throughout the year sounds like it's not even a daily occurrence.

But because it's only one item at a time for a whole day, and based on the setup it looks like you can only buy one color variation when it appears, I think it's still absurd that it wouldn't be a normal daily offering because there's literally hundreds upon hundreds of items, and only 365 days in a year.

I'd be more annoyed by that fact if I could actually buy the items they're offering.

I like that old items will still be available. MCL just continued with the new stage of life and did not look back ever again.
But we have a lot of pieces to fill the year and it does not look like this will even be on a daily bases.

Also wasted chance to make use of your purro'pass.
