I am really looking forward to it! I even like the new character

I admit, the new logged-out homepage does look very nice! I'm actually kinda excited to see where all this goes now!

I definitely like the new background designs. HQ has gotten much fancier in those 7 years it seems, and I really like the statues that are at the cherry tree, and the garden that's even more abundant in plant life than before. Lots of nice little touches like that.

I'm a Nevra girl and I really like his new design, but even I'm disappointed to see that Ezarel and Valkyon aren't coming back. I feel really bad for the players on their routes, and I'm curious to know what excuse Ezarel has for not returning. Did he really just run away and never come back? As for Mathieu, I'm not interested in him in the slightest. He seems to just be a replacement for Ezarel anyway.

And the new companions are so adorable! I can't wait to catch them and see their adult forms!

All in all, I'm excited for "A New Era". The loss of love interests and the new maana system are the only things I don't like, but everything else seems very nice so far. Hoping we'll get confirmation soon on the identity of that 4th LI (by the hints so far, we all know who it is anyway). I think a villain turned good route could be super interesting, and who knows, I might even change routes to experience it (depending on how he and Nevra are in the new season).

The new logged-out page looks great and so do the redesigns of the characters. Tbh I like Mathieu for now, at least his character design looks pretty good, and if the description matches the way he's portrayed in the game then I think I might actually try out his route and the new season. The new companions are super cute, too.

Has this made me forget about Valkyon and Ezarel? No. If you did this to take away the attention from all of the awful decisions you've made, it's not going to work. No matter what you do people will always be angry (and for a good reason). Just at least admit to treating us with Valkyon or Ezarel's routes like trash, because that's what you did.

Hm... now I see it. I mean, that Mathieu is Valkyons replacement rather than Ezraels. Yup, both are dependable warrior types, and if new guys are not obvious copies of old ones it's good, right?

Now, if Leiftan was bad boy in disguise in 1st season, Lance would be kinda same but reverse (everyone think he is bad but he's good). Makes total sense.

I mean, it's fine that after seven years the vegetation has grown a lot on the city of El, but discovering so many new species right in front of the HQ?

I have to say that the companion teases seem very good.

I can't wait to see the new map and companion designs.

Maybe some of the new clothes and bindles.

That's actually true. To me, Mathieu seems like a mixture of both Valkyon and Ezarel. He's got the build and strength of Valkyon, and seems to have the fun, joking nature of Ezarel. But if Lance is the 4th LI, then I consider him to be replacing Valkyon. Just my opinion, but either way, those two routes are being replaced.

Well every year christmas land and halloween land have new companions, and we never question that. And idk if you've seen the new design of the new era exploration map but there looks like there's some sort of dark portal whirlpool in the sea. Maybe the companions came from another world?

And are the three maps we've been able to explore in eldarya really the entirety of the entire world? or are there whole new locations we've never been and that's where these companions have always lived?

I'm pretty sure there's more to explore than these three places. For example, we never got to see Nevra, or Ezarel, or even Miiku's homeland before. I'm not up to date with the episodes and I don't remember all the details, but I know these characters were not born and raised in the City of El headquarters.

Besides, there is a day/night cycle in Eldarya, which leads to the existence of a whole solar system with stars and potentially other planets, too.

Wait, are they seriously booting Valkyon and Ezarel?
They're seriously going to give Eldarya the MyCandyLove treatment and nix half the routes?
What's the point for all the players who haven't finished those routes to even continue now? We won't get to see them beyond the episodes they're currently on.

I'm not saying I believe beemoov would do something cool like that, but imagine if they actually cared and did something cool like that? If love interests from other games crossed worlds and became available in another game. Then they wouldn't completely kill a portion of their audience. It's a nice idea.

Personally, I think that "bland" is actually really nice thing to have in time to time. I'm gonna go on Mathieu route anyway, bland or not. He seems like a normal, everyday guy, and I don't dislike him (at least yet) as I do with Nevra and Leiftan.
